I hope you all have a safe, joyful, and relaxing Independence Day weekend filled with family, friends, good food, and a little time to recharge.

July is always a special month for me because it’s not only summer… it’s also my birthday month! 🎉 This year, I’ll be celebrating a few new seasons as I make some changes in my career that will hopefully create more room for personal time and creativity.

Life seems to be one long series of pivots and adjustments, doesn’t it? I may not always handle them as gracefully as I’d like (if you’ve ever watched Friends, just picture Ross yelling, “Pivot!” 😂), but that’s okay. I’m still learning, still growing, and still seeing God’s grace in new ways every single day. He is so good.

This month I’m working on two exciting tutorial options for you: a Christmas in July project or another tutorial featuring the beautiful Valley in Bloom collection from the May-August 2026 catalog. Whichever one I finish first, it will be available FREE with a qualifying $50 purchase through my Stampin’ Up! online store.

As an extra thank-you and a way to celebrate my birthday month, everyone who places an order with me in July will also receive a surprise gift in the mail! 🎁 I have quite a collection of crafting goodies I’d love to share, and I can’t think of a better way to bless this wonderful creative community.

My goal is still to host classes on the last Sunday of each month from 2:00-4:00 PM. While my in-person classes haven’t quite reached the attendance I’d hoped for yet, I’m exploring the possibility of moving those gatherings to Instagram Live, where more of our community is already connected. So keep that afternoon open because one way or another, I’d love to spend some creative time with you!

Thank you, as always, for your encouragement, support, and for being part of this little corner of the crafting world. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. 💙✂️

And here’s the project it inspired:

The Summer Happiness Dies don’t just coordinate with the Summer Happiness Photopolymer Stamp Set. Combine these dies with the Summer Happiness Washi Tape and you can die cut the brightly colored hand-drawn summer images to make playful accents for all your summer projects.

A rectangle of Basic White Cardstock was embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, trimmed to measure 3½” x 1⅞”, and adhered directly to a Basic White folded card base. A rectangle of the striped pattern from the Beautiful Ordinary Life 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper measuring 2″ x 4⅛” (cut with the stripes running horizontally) was adhered to the center of the embossed panel.

One full pattern repeat of the Summer Happiness Washi Tape was adhered to a piece of Basic White Cardstock. The Summer Happiness Dies were used to cut out the camera, flip flips, pineapple, and lemonade bottle, plus the three floral elements. These were then grouped as shown and adhered to the card front, with some elements on Stampin’ Dimensionals™.

The sentiment, from the coordinating Summer Happiness Photopolymer Stamp Set, was stamped on Basic Black Cardstock using VersaMark™ Ink, embossed with White embossing powder, and carefully cut out with scissors. The embossed sentiment was added to the card front using Dimensionals. Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added as embellishments.
