As I delve into the business aspects of posts and card making, I realize there’s an abundance of knowledge to acquire. While this is undoubtedly a positive development, I’ve observed that without a solid business plan or direction, it’s easy to lose sight of our goals and perspectives.
For instance, my passion for creating often led me to lose focus on my original intention of becoming an active demonstrator amidst the chaos of setting up various projects. This overwhelm and paralysis were exacerbated by the numerous possibilities that can be overwhelming. My Type A personality detests wasting time or momentum, making it difficult for me to stay on track.
This learning curve between the freedom to create and the lack of freedom in business has been challenging. However, like any challenge, staying rooted in Christ and keeping my eyes fixed on Him is crucial for overcoming this long journey. Recognizing that my anxiousness stems from trusting and relying solely on myself for direction and answers, rather than God, helps me refocus, rest, and continue forward!
